Summers in Maine can get cool in the evening - women may want to bring a light layer.

Q: Where is the wedding taking place?

A: On House Island, a private island in Casco Bay, just off the coast of Portland. It’s only accessible by boat - transportation details are provided on the website and via mobile app here:

Q: How do we get to House Island?

A: Foggs Water Taxi will handle all transportation to and from the island. We have booked two of their charter boats - Casco Bay Cat and the Joseph S. Kennedy. We have assigned all guests to one of the charter boat times. Please check the mobile app (sam will add link here) or your email for your assigned departure time. We encourage guests to Uber or walk to Foggs location in downtown Portland. If you require transportation, please valet park at the AC Hotel and a shuttle will take you to the dock. If you require special assistance please reach out to wedding@grayasher.com

Q. How do we get to Fogg’s Water Taxi?

Fogg’s Water Taxi is located at 72 Commercial Street in Portland, Maine. If you see Ri Ra Irish Pub, it is down the alleyway on the right side when facing the Pub. The dock for Foggs is just past Scales restaurant. It’s directly across the street from Port of Call Travel Gear. [add] Here is an image from across the street:

Note, please do not go to the Casco Bay Lines main ferry terminal with large commuter ferries.

Q. What time should I be at the Ferry?

Your scheduled departure time has been sent to you via email and will be available in the App (Link below)

If you are driving to Portland, we recommend that you leave time for parking your car and walking/shuttling over to the docks. All addresses are provided and linked in the app. Please refer to the "Map Info" section.

Q. Where can I park if I'm driving?

We encourage everyone to uber, walk (if staying in downtown Portland or take the shuttle from the AC Hotel. If you need to park, we have reserved valet parking at the AC Hotel. Please tell them you are with the Gray Asher Wedding party.

Q. How are we getting on the boat?

There is a ramp down to the boat. Guests will be directed down the ramp to board the boat. Support is available for anyone who needs help on the ramp and/or the boat. Please reach out to wedding@grayasher.com if you'd like to discuss ahead of time!

Q. How long is the boat ride?

5-7 minutes

Q. What happens if I miss my scheduled Ferry?

Please do your best to be there on time for your scheduled trip. We're running boats to bring guests to Island but your boat assignment is based on capacity.

Please reach out our planner via Text message (only), Brigid - if you did not make your scheduled time.

The ceremony starts at 4pm. Our last boat is scheduled at 3:40 PM.
